The restaurant itself is a work of art, featuring a bright, beautifully designed contemporary decor that thoughtfully elevates the entire museum experience. Customers have praised the atmosphere for being conversation-friendly, noting that it's "not too loud" and allows for a truly enjoyable table discussion—a rare and valuable trait in the dining scene.
The menu at Alden is rooted in modern American cuisine, brilliantly infused with global influences and driven by the freshest seasonal ingredients. A crucial element of the Alden experience is its duality. It serves as a full-service dining room perfect for a leisurely evening or a business lunch, while also offering the convenient ‘Grab & Garden’ service for those on the move. This versatility makes it an ideal complement to an afternoon strolling through the museum's exhibits or a destination all on its own. The full beverage program, which includes expertly crafted cocktails, a globe-spanning wine list, and zero-proof drinks, further solidifies its position as a high-end cultural and culinary hub in Central Phoenix.

Being integrated into the Phoenix Art Museum provides a unique and elegant setting, transforming a meal into a full cultural outing.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Highly recommend dinner here!! Everything — drinks, starters, main dishes and desserts — was insanely delicious. Honestly the best dining experience we’ve had in AZ in years. Customer service was equally fantastic, as well as the fact that it wasn’t too loud and you could have a conversation at your table without straining. Can’t wait to come back, and so happy to see Conceptually Social in this new space — such a great way to end an afternoon strolling through the Phoenix Art Museum!
October 12 · J WRestaurant was bright, and beautifully designed with a very well thought out contemporary decor that elevates the art museum. Isaiah was a great host and took care of our family with 3 toddler! The food is delicious and menu offered a nice selection.Patty melt was very juicy and well flavored. The salmon was perfectly cooked, medium at the center and crispy skin! The Mac and cheese was decadent and had such depth of flavor. The grilled cheese was by far the best we've ever had anywhere. Our 4 yo/6 yo boys loved everything, and most particularly the tomato bisque!I'd highly recommend this restaurant and looking for to coming back!
October 11 · Thai LyAlden at the Phoenix Art Museum, located between the Phoenix Art Museum and the Phoenix Theater in midtown Phoenix, is a beautifully reimagined culinary space that blends art, culture, and cuisine. The 3,862-square-foot restaurant overlooks the Dorrance Sculpture Garden and offers a modern American menu inspired by the diversity of Phoenix, featuring seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. On our visit, we began with two expertly crafted cocktails — the *Skyline*, made with rye, sweet vermouth, and spiced honey, and a classic *Manhattan* — both balanced and flavorful, a promising sign for their developing bar program. For appetizers, we enjoyed the *Burrata* with beefsteak tomato, pesto, aged saba, and crostini, followed by entrées of *Faroe Salmon* with curry smashed potatoes and broccolini, and the *KFC Steam Bun* with Korean honey glaze, slaw, and house pickles. Each dish was beautifully presented, thoughtfully seasoned, and perfectly cooked. Whether you’re visiting the museum or the theater, Alden is the ideal spot to start or end your evening — an elevated yet approachable dining experience you won’t want to miss.
October 06 · Edward DramtrotterWe stopped in for a drink prior to going to the theater. We were very impressed by the atmosphere and service. Our bartender John was a lot of fun to talk to and served up wonderful cocktails. He is a great ambassador for this new restaurant. We will be back to try some of the food!
October 11 · Carter AbbottWent for my daughter’s birthday and the staff was great! The appetizers specifically the Burrata, Calamari and we chose to have the KFC Buns as an appetizer and they were amazing!! We also tried the Beef Wellington, sausage and perogies, and the steak frites. Will for sure go back! Excited to see if this menu changes as well😊
