★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Walking into The Cheesecake Factory is like entering a Roman palace designed by a Vegas architect who binge-watched Food Network. The chandeliers sparkle. The booths are plush. The menu? A leather-bound tome that could double as a college textbook. I half expected a pop quiz on page 47.Enter our server—an enthusiastic culinary tour guide who treated the menu like sacred scripture. He didn’t just take our order. He performed it. Every dish came with a backstory, a flavor profile, and his personal Yelp review. I now know more about the Thai Lettuce Wraps than I do about my own ancestry. We ordered the Avocado Club Sandwich and the Southern Fried Chicken Bowl. The bowl? A glorious heap of comfort food that could feed a small village. Crispy chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, and enough corn to qualify as a harvest festival. It was delicious, plentiful, and emotionally supportive. I felt hugged. The Avocado Club Sandwich, however, was… fine. Not bad. Not thrilling. Just a sandwich doing its job. Like a middle manager with a good attendance record. But then came the French fries—and oh, the betrayal. They looked like they were rescued from a freezer, gently warmed, and sent out with a prayer. I’ve had more crispness from a soggy napkin. The root beer was cold. The vibes were warm. The server deserves a TED Talk. But those fries? They need therapy. In conclusion, The Cheesecake Factory remains a majestic labyrinth of food options, where you can eat like royalty or accidentally order a salad the size of a beach ball. Just be prepared for a server who knows the menu better than your therapist knows your childhood.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Minus one star for the fries. They know what they did.)
October 02 · Nick EtcittyI had a gift card for this place for a while now and decided to use it tonight. Our waiter Kyle B was okay, for some reason he would not clear our plates even though they have been sitting there for a while when our food came out I asked the nice lady who brought it out to take our plates which were the appetizer plates and bread basket. Our table was small so if it was bigger I would have left it. We also asked for more bread which was never brought. He also seemed more attentive to the other table by us and asked them if they needed something else but not us I wonder why.. the food was good and of course dessert was great maybe we will try it again another time and I will update the review but the service was not that great tonight.
September 12 · IsabelThis place was recommended by a friend (we were visiting from another country). When we got there the queue was super long!! It was a Saturday night so maybe that is why. We sat and waited for a bit and decided to go and looked for another place to eat. After checking a few places we decided to go back to the Cheesecake Factory and waited. After maybe 15-20 minutes we finally got a table and the lady who served us was very helpful. There is so much stuff in the menu and so it took us a bit of time to get what we wanted to have. After she got our orders she served us our drinks and probably after 10-12 minutes our food started to be served. One of my friends remarked that he was a little disappointed with one of his orders but mine was all good. I had the classic burger and some fries, hubby and I also got choc cheesecake for dessert. I also had a taste of my friends chicken taquitos, I thought that was nice. It was overall a good experience except the waiting in the long line part.
May 05 · B BalboaIt’s solid, but at some point, the price-value proposition doesn’t make sense anymore. Like most other restaurants they’ve raised prices. Unfortunately, like so many businesses, they’ve simultaneously cut expenses (aka spent less on the experience they provide). Our family of four averaged nearly $50/person for meal that included 2 cocktails, 2 sodas, 2 slices of cheesecake, a small plate, and 4 entrees (all sandwiches or appetizer menu options).Cocktails were solid (careful, they don’t list prices on the menu for some reason). The food was definitely good. But it wasn’t great. The portions were (gulp, never imagined I’d say this about Cheesecake Factory) average to small. The service was nothing like the Cheesecake Factory of old. Our server (nice enough and competent) was rushed and impatient (literally pulling our start plate away before we could answer and while my daughter was reaching for the last zucchini stick. The constant pre-bussing was noticeable, and we felt rushed throughout. In general most of the staff looked fairly unhappy to be there - flat expressions, low energy (very different than I’ve typically seen here). It was a downer, really. This chain used to be a goto for me (years ago), and while it hasn’t been as sharp, the food and friendly energy was worth not. Now it seems the pressures of the economy, labor shortage, or whatever has caught up. It makes me sad, but this really isn’t something that makes sense anymore for me.
August 08 · Vince LI went here for my first time last month and it blew my expectations out of the water. I seriously have never had such high quality food! We ordered the egg roll appetizer, shawarma, and chicken Madeira. The chicken Madeira was unbelievable. I still think about it! Finished with a key lime slice of cheesecake.Yes, the price is higher than your average restaurant but the quality of food and service is well worth the price! I would absolutely recommend you try this place at least once :)
