Pizzería Virtu Introduce
Nestled in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona, Pizzería Virtu is not just another pizza restaurant; it is a refined destination offering an authentic taste of Italian-Neapolitan cuisine. Helmed by renowned Chef Gio Osso, this establishment is celebrated for adhering strictly to the exacting standards of the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN). This commitment means that every pizza is crafted using 00 flour and San Marzano tomatoes, then rapidly cooked in a blistering 900° wood-fired oven for a mere 90 seconds, resulting in an exceptional, slightly charred, and non-soupy crust that many local patrons consider the "best in Scottsdale."
Pizzería Virtu offers a dining experience that balances a casual, cozy, and trendy atmosphere with the sophistication of a fine Italian eatery. While the pizza is the star—with standout pies like the Milano (featuring stracchino cheese, smoked pancetta, caramelized onion, and chestnut honey) and the Affumicata—the menu extends to exquisite Piccoli Piatti (small plates), fresh Insalate, and expertly crafted Le Paste. The dedication to quality extends to the beverage program, featuring a carefully curated wine list and innovative Virtù Cocktails, making it a perfect spot for locals, groups, and tourists seeking a premier Old Town dining spot.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve been coming to this place regularly for pizza, and I used to really enjoy it. Unfortunately, my experience today was very disappointing. It seems the menu has changed, and many of the delicious options are no longer available. The pizza I usually order couldn’t be made, so I had to choose something else.I ordered the Diamante pizza, and honestly, it was very unpleasant. While the crust is still amazing - probably the best in Scottsdale - the toppings were extremely underwhelming. Nowhere on the menu was it mentioned that the pizza includes ground meat, which I would have never expected on an Italian-style pizza. The quality of the meat also wasn’t great, and the combination of ingredients just didn’t work.On top of that, the girl taking my order wasn’t particularly polite or welcoming, which made the experience even more frustrating. I’ve always appreciated how attentive and friendly the staff used to be, so this felt like a big change.I truly hope you consider revisiting your new menu. The dough is exceptional, but the toppings need serious improvement. What you currently offer doesn’t reflect the spirit of Italian pizza, and as someone who used to really enjoy coming here, I’m genuinely disappointed.
July 12 · Евгения ЧегодаеваWe were impressed with both food and service. The vibe is low key casual and our server was very friendly. She was happy to recommend dishes and curate the dinner for us overall. Everything was flavorful and delicious. Especially liked the Milano pizza, mulberry street rigatoni, Montata whipped cheese, and Campania pizza. So basically almost everything we ordered …. Will be back!
August 08 · Ed BrillPizzeria Virtù is a cozy little spot in Scottsdale that delivers big on flavor and atmosphere. The restaurant has a warm, homey feel that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. The menu is simple but thoughtful, with a focus on quality over quantity. The wood-fired pizzas are the star—crispy, light crusts with just the right amount of char, topped with fresh, flavorful ingredients. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve discovered a neighborhood favorite, perfect for a casual night out or a relaxed dinner with friends.
September 03 · Jill SprankleA charming little pizza spot off the east side of Main Street in old town. The menu is small and to the point, both pizzas and pastas dishes were amazing and full of flavor.
October 12 · Shawna NikoleBeautiful place which I truly recommend to visit! Tried 3 appetizers and pizzas (all of them were 10/10)! This restaurant in my top 5 in Phoenix! Service also amazing! If you want to eat true Italian food in America - visit this place ❤️
