La Realeza Michoacana Introduce
For residents of Arizona seeking an authentic culinary experience that bridges the savory traditions of Mexico with the vibrant joy of Mexican-style desserts, La Realeza Michoacana in Phoenix offers a truly unique destination. Operating as a dual-concept establishment—both a Mexican restaurant and a specialized ice cream shop—it brings the rich, diverse flavors of the Michoacán region of Mexico directly to the Valley of the Sun. This spot is celebrated for its ability to deliver a full cultural experience, from hearty main courses and flavorful traditional plates to an incredible selection of fresh, handcrafted frozen treats and antojitos (Mexican snacks).
The menu at La Realeza Michoacana is expansive, expertly catering to both lunch and dinner crowds looking for comfort food, and those with a sweet tooth seeking something unique. A true highlight from the savory side is the Birria De Chivo (Goat Birria), a specialty of Michoacán known for its tender, slow-cooked meat simmered in a rich, complex chili broth. This dish represents the deeply traditional Mexican fare available. Other substantial offerings include a wide array of Tortas (Mexican sandwiches) with fillings like Asada, Pastor, and the decadent Cubana, as well as classic plate meals such as Enchiladas and Rico Mole. Tacos and Burritos are also available with popular fillings like Asada and Pollo (Chicken).
However, what truly sets La Realeza Michoacana apart is its incredible depth in the dessert and snack category, which aligns with the "Michoacana" tradition of artisanal sweets and refreshing fruit-based treats. The establishment proudly offers an array of handmade ice creams (Nieves), Raspados (shaved ice), Licuados (smoothies/shakes), and a stunning selection of Aguas De Frutas Naturales (natural fruit waters), including traditional Horchata and Jamaica. The reviews often praise the "great dessert" options, signaling that a visit here is incomplete without trying one of the 14 flavors of ice cream, a refreshing Escamocha, or the perfectly made agua de frutas—described by one customer as "delicious."
While the vast majority of the experience is positive, with a focus on great customer service and delicious food, it is important for potential patrons to note that the provided information includes one unfavorable review related to an issue with restroom access for a small child. Management should be aware that ensuring accessibility and empathy in all service aspects is crucial to maintaining a fully welcoming and positive reputation within the family-friendly and tourist-welcoming community it serves.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Today at 8 pm I went to eat with my family. I have a two-year-old daughter. I asked to borrow the bathroom for her and they wouldn't open it. She is a two-year-old girl who peed on her clothes because she can't hold it. I am a customer and I have always liked the service, but this time it was very bad. They didn't even bring the willows to the table. I called to file a complaint and she had her cell phone and said she couldn't open the bathroom for hygiene reasons, but she could see my cell phone. It was bad this time with the two ladies on duty.
July 17 · Daniel RobayoGreat costumer serviceTheir agua de frutas is delicious.
January 18 · Rosie VGreat selection of desserts, a little on the pricey side but the desserts tasted pretty good so I didn't mind. The only thing that bothered me was that the girl helping me seemed like she was upset I was ordering multiple things. She kept asking is that all even though I was in the middle of talking and looking at the menu while making my choices.Parking here is pretty bad as there are a couple of other businesses in the small plaza. You can expect to possibly not find parking at their busy times.Other than that the desserts and their corn in a cup was very good.
January 31 · Phoenix DsolSo good great clean place.with good food
July 16 · Peter Armadillo Sr.This location is very dirty. I've tried going here several times and its always a disappointment. I've seen a roach crawl on the counter where they have the condiments as the girl was making my raspado and this last time the mango they served me tasted spoiled. My stomach didn't even want to try getting it remade. Everything looks good but its not worth risking food poisoning from this location.
