★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Good beer, no real food to speak of besides maybe some popcorn. The beer is quality and they have some staples you can always get like Hop Chowda, which gives Church Music a run for its money. My other favorite is Legendary which is a milk stout but that one isn't always available. They rotate and only make certain beers occasionally. If you catch when they make the Double Hop Chowda, get it. You won't be disappointed. They sell cans of beer in a cooler that are also discounted during happy hour. Beer prices are about $8 dollars a pint, $6 on happy hour. Happy hour is from open till 5pm Monday to Friday. They will let you sample beer or order 5 and 10 ounce beers as well. You can take a crowler to go but it's usually cheaper to get the cans. I think they fill growlers but I'm not sure. They are not usually super busy but today it was packed for Friday Happy Hour.
May 30 · Corey GThis is a great place that just hasn't yet been found by the hoards. We love that we can bring in our food (they do not serve food), and our pup, and we go up to the bar when we want another beer instead of being interrupted by a server. A great place to come in with a group to watch a game, or to play games and just hang out. They have a good selection of beer and ciders. Never ever a feeling of being rushed to leave. I am not a fan of typical bar food, so for us, to be able to order from Perfect Pear (right across the parking lot) and bring it in is great. There are other placed right there for food, too. I just don't know them.High tops, low tops and a couch and chairs area. My only issue at all is that like so many places these days....they lean toward that lack of acoustics to soften the noise. Apparently to make it feel livelier. I prefer the noise to be softened. But, few places do that anymore. Funny thing...most people I know will say "I wish places would remember we are there to talk, not to dance and yell to be heard." It isn't as bad as some places, though.
September 10 · Peggy NelsonOur go-to brewery. The staff is super friendly, they have a nice beer rotation, and the atmosphere is great. They don't have in-house food but do have good food trucks. My only complaint is that many people have discovered the same thing we have and now they stay pretty busy. This review won't help that :)*Also, very dog friendly.
August 12 · Stella RouseTim, and both Johns, are always there to greet you by name. It's always nice to have people remember you, and we see them welcome guests the same way each time we are there. This is a great place to come socialize with your pups too. I did rate the food a 5 star although they don't have a kitchen, John's jalapeño pop corn is the best. They do have food trucks on a regular basis if you check their social media feeds. When it was time to find a place for my wife's birthday, Tim welcomed us with open arms and they even set up tables for our food for the party. Oh, yeah, almost forgot...the beer is good and always cold. :)
August 12 · Mark PoissonBeen coming to the place for a while. Tim, John, and Jimmy (and occasionally Sparkles aka John) are very friendly and awesome bartenders. Great beers and more and more food trucks are being booked. Baer’s are great and they have plenty on tap. Stop on buy, grab a beer and enjoy NFL footballs on Sundays/Mondays/ and thursdays
