★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We were in the mood for sandwiches and found this gem. We were greeted by the owner, who described several of their best sellers. They have at least 29 different sandwiches on their menu, different rolls, or you can ask for a custom sandwich.I chose the whole #1, The Grand Canyon, and my wife chose the whole #2, The Tombstone. Both sandwiches were large, fresh, and delicious. We had lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and banana peppers on the sandwiches. I had the Dutch crunch roll, and my wife had the Sourdough roll. There are many other veggies and add-ons available. All the staff members were friendly, with greetings when we arrived and saying goodbye when we left. The owner even came outside to say goodbye and thank us for our visit. The restaurant was also immaculate. It's about 45 minutes or so away from us, but we will be going back.Thank you to The Sandwich Spot for a wonderful lunch.
July 07 · PaulStaff was really friendly and the inside was clean and comfortable.Unfortunately I really didn't like the dutch crunch bread and it kind of killed the sandwich for me. I'm not sure if I got an old one or what, but the whole thing was really tough and chewy with no actual crunch to it at all.The other ingredients seemed fine though. I'll probably come back to try their other breads eventually.
September 18 · Ricky GervaisLate to the party but early to lunch 😋 Another hidden gem right next door to me and I've been putting it off "till next time". Great little shop at the end of a small strip of stores on Glendale and 12th Street. Very clean, organized and welcoming. Today we decided to try the #2 Tombstone (hot turkey, bacon, cheddar cheese and avocado). For such a small shop I think they had more subs available than Subway! The also have a good assortment of breads and right away the Dutch Crunch was calling our name.We decided to make it a combo with the AZ lemonade stand ( strawberry lemonade). Once again they probably have the largest assortment of AZ lemonade stand products,so many options. We arrived during a small lunch rush so we were 3rd in a group of about 5. Sandwich came out in perfect time about 5 minutes after ordering. Looking delicious and stacked high with all our desired toppings. We partnered the sandwich with the potato salad and one of their signature sauces the Bomb sauce.....talk about an impressive sauce. The bomb sauce is a jalapeno ranch and I don't know how they do it buts it's an even split of jalapeno heat and flavor with that cool ranch merged. The staff is super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Great little shop with good flavor.
April 17 · Alfonso PerezI was recommended this place by my dear friend and WOW it sure met all expectations. The staff is very personal, the gentlemen was very engaging and knowledgeable about their menu. With tip it was around 20 dollars but let me tell you it was worth the price! It was a good size sandwich with lots of health and fresh ingredients. I love hot sandwiches but to my surprise this one was absolutely incredible served cold: the bread was spot on and all the ingredients were too. I’m a hard critic when it comes to quality of bread but this one was wonderful. Will definitely come back when I’m around the area.
June 20 · EdisThis is a warm and inviting little sandwich shop! My friend and I got the 16 and 27. They were both really yummy, but the 16 was definitely better in my opinion. I would suggest ordering double meat, personally. I loved the quality of the meat, just think it needs a little more! The Dutch crunch bread was different and took the sandwich up a notch! Thank you Max and Ella! Didn't get a chance to snap a pic of the food, we were too hungry!
