Savanna Grill at Phoenix Zoo Reviews

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The food at the aquarium was phenomenal. This meal was very sad in comparison. Actually it was sad generally. It’s not the 1990s anymore. Zoo food doesn’t have to be crap. Get a headchef and do something positive with this space. This meal cost $30
December 29 · Gregory CravenThe food is impressively small for the price you pay. $14.50 for a bacon cheeseburger that is smaller than basic options at fast food restaurants. The taste is definitely only ok, and worse than I expected for something that calls itself a grill. As a person with allergies, the allergen warning was very generic and staff had no idea what foods had what allergens.
December 21 · Matt UzzleCasual dining option at Phoenix Zoo. Order at the counter, pick up when called. Burgers and chicken fingers are your main menu items. It’s zoo food, so expect a mediocre tasting meal. Pricy for what you get, but again to be expected at an attraction.
June 06 · Jason LoehnertI get that we’re going to pay high markup at places like this, but you’d at least think they’d serve something other than cafeteria food and have halfway decent service. They consistently get order wrong and the food is awful to begin with. Their “jumbo” hotdogs are literally the smallest size hotdogs on the market. The Phoenix Zoo really needs another option for food—it’s genuinely a deterrent to us even coming to the zoo at all because we don’t want to get food here and everything else is out of the way
November 28 · C CSANITARY HAZARD: Guy wearing all black, shades and a black Lagunitas ball cap used the area where straws, condiments and silverware as the work area for the cleaning supplies, including a square red bucket with nasty dark water that he placed right in front of the straw dispenser! I moved it out the way and he put it right back there. This was today, December 31st, 3024.Maybe that is how he was raised, but this is a restaurant in a popular attraction.I wouldn’t be surprised to see this place in the news for a hepatitis outbreak sometime soon.Just gross.
