Mensho Ramen Reviews

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We’d heard a lot about Mensho, but decided to wait until some of the buzz died down to avoid the rumored long wait times. When we finally went for an early dinner on a Sunday, we were seated right away.We started with their delicious take on a salmon roll, the Misoyaki Salmon, which was incredible — easily the highlight of our meal.I ordered the vegan ramen, Cauliflower Tantanmen. It was okay. I consider myself a ramen lover, but this one just didn’t hit the mark for me. The broth was thicker and saltier than I’m used to — bordering on a gravy. I asked for a side of rice to finish the broth once my noodles were gone, but was told it wasn’t available, which was pretty disappointing. My partner ordered the signature Toripaitan and felt similarly. That said, neither of our dishes were bad — we both acknowledged that perhaps Mensho’s ramen style just isn’t for us.We finished our meal with the Matcha Pudding, which was perfectly sweetened and absolutely delicious. All in all, it was a nice experience with good food and friendly service, but I probably wouldn’t rush back on my own. If friends wanted to go, sure — but personally, I think I prefer Jinya or Yutaka.
October 06 · Khrystal ParraI’ve had ramen in Japan—the home of ramen—and I can honestly say Mensho comes impressively close, maybe even better in some ways. The Signature Ramen is rich and silky, with a broth that clings to the noodles and delivers deep umami in every bite. The soft-boiled egg is perfect, the mix of pork and turkey adds amazing depth, and the A5 Wagyu takes it to another level. The Spicy Crunchy Chicken appetizer was a standout too—crispy, juicy, and the perfect balance of sweet heat with just the right kick.Mensho isn’t just a ramen shop, it’s a full experience. Every detail feels intentional, and everything comes together in harmony. If you’re looking for world-class ramen outside of Japan, this is the spot.
October 02 · Cyril OatleyMensho, was absolutely stellar. Although I’ve never been over seas , I’ve had a lot of very good Ramen. But Mensho is by far the best I’ve ever had. The broth was so flavorful and velvety, the noodles had a prefect bounce and chew. The both clung to the noodles for that perfect slippery slurp. All the proteins melted in your mouth. Staff provided the best costumer service experience .
August 27 · Erik AndersonThis location is bigger and brighter than the one in Mesa. Service was excellent, our server was friendly and attentive. The ramen broth was thicker and a bit too rich for my taste. The spicy karaage felt like a smaller portion and didn’t stand out much. They do offer more sushi and rolls here, but overall, I still prefer the Mesa location.
August 20 · Michelle CTalk about the best fricken ramen I've ever had. The service was stellar, they even gave me their dessert for my birthday. 100% would recommend. We for the signature ramen, the garlic knockout, garlic edamame, the enoki mushrooms, a5 wagu with caviar and the garlic wagu. Good god this place is perfect.
