While the business promotes itself on its authentic flavors, it's worth noting the dynamic nature of Mexican cuisine in the American Southwest. Some customers appreciate the depth of choice and friendly service, while others have noted a certain 'Americanized' influence, particularly the use of yellow cheese in some dishes, which is a common regional adaptation. Nevertheless, the broad appeal and sheer variety, including Shrimp Taco options, Carne Asada Fries, and traditional sweets like Tres Leches Cake and Assorted Pan Dulce Tray, make it a significant culinary destination in the area. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Atmosphere is great, very friendly service, lots of choices, including lots of coffee and pastry options! Great for a meal or a coffee and snack stop. One unexpected item, I order chile rellanos from different restaurants regularly for the last 20+ years and I have never had one come with cheddar cheese. This is not listed on the menu and it's not able to be adjusted. Just a heads up if you're ordering this and don't prefer cheddar cheese.
June 24 · Heidi OIn true honesty, I had high hopes from this place. They promote it to be authentic Mexican food but it really ins't. All food is too americanized. Tried the chilaquiles, the sauce had a metal taste. Also tried the falutas and it didn't have a good taste. Plus yellow cheese on everything, mexican food does not have yellow cheese. Wish they would've stayed true to what they promote. The service was nice, the place had a restroom smell and the food was not good.
September 23 · Paola MarquezThis was our first time eating here. We came for brunch and thought it was okay. The cafe de la olla was good but thought it could have been hotter. The service we received was excellent, the girls in the front were very courteous and welcoming. We felt that the atmosphere was nice, however, we did wonder why they have security staff posted at both entrance doors locations. We felt like we were being stared at as we were eating and conversating which threw off the nice vibe we were having. We are thinking of coming again soon for lunch and hopefully we'll be at a table where we can enjoy our meal and conversation with more privacy.
August 20 · Celina OzelWe Loved this cute spot for a good breakfast and some coffee! The staff was amazing and there was no wait to be seated. The food was delicious and the pricing was great. We ordered the Walter Large Burrito and a breakfast burrito with chorizo and asada. For dessert we ordered the Concha French toast. The chorizo has so much flavor and was overall great. The Walter burrito was tasty, but my favorite was definitely the French toast. We loved that it was not soggy or too sweet. The lemonade was very refreshing, not too sweet and not bitter! I ordered the coffee El Cazo and I’m glad I did! Altogether we spent $35 and that’s just a steal! Will definitely be back for more!
August 21 · Cheli CastroThis spot serves typical bland Mex-Tex food, but overall I wasn’t too impressed. Many dishes come topped with yellow and white cheese and lettuce, which is a sign you’re not getting traditional Mexican flavors. On the positive side, the coffee was good, and the highlight for me was the huge concha bread French toast, definitely worth trying.
