The sides like pickled carrots and onions added a nice tangy crunch, and the chutneys (mint and tamarind) paired so well with the starters. The rotis and naans were soft and fresh, perfect for scooping up the curries.The ambience was cozy and elegant, with warm lighting and attentive service throughout the evening. Portions were generous, and everything tasted homemade and authentic.Overall, an excellent spot in Tempe if you’re craving true Indian flavors. Our server was so kind, and the food - the best part - was so delicious!! It made me realize all the other Indian food I had previously wasn’t as good as I thought. I would definitely come back. I am in the west valley but will happily do the 45min drive to eat at this restaurant!

Have menu choices for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian customers though menu is small, which I like. Definitely would recommend.

We were excited to try the Daal Bhukhara, but it didn’t suit our taste. Amritsari Kulcha was below average, and the Roomali Roti—though not something you find everywhere—was just average. Rice has to be ordered separately, but the portion of daal was generous. The atmosphere and service were both very good. Overall, worth a visit.
