★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Silverlake Ramen in Tempe was a great find! I had the spicy shoyu ramen with pork, and it really delivered. The noodles were solid—soft but not soggy, great texture all around. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the pork was super tender and packed with flavor. It’s not your traditional Japanese-style ramen—it came with a lime wedge and jalapeño, which gave it a unique twist. Still, it worked! I got the combo with chicken karaage (crispy and juicy) and a tuna hand roll (fresh and tasty).Portions were solid, service was quick, and the vibe was relaxed. Definitely worth checking out if you’re into ramen with a little twist.
April 14 · D ChenLiterally the best ramen place in Phoenix, my boyfriend and I come here at least once a month. Can't believe this only has a 4 star rating, because the ramen is sooo good and makes this place a 5/5. We love getting the combo and the gyoza is so delicious. Our favorite is the tonkotsu ramen, definitely recommend getting it with pork, which is so tender. I would say I wish they did have a smaller size for the ramen, since it is a large and generous portion.
October 07 · Gabriella HolmThe ramen was just okay- very americanized. I've never seen avocado in ramen, and it was quite strange. Not too much depth of flavor for the broth. The second time I went they were out of vegetarian broth entirely and the only other vegetarian option they had was mushroom curry, which I couldn't eat due to a very mild mushroom allergy. I was able to try a few bites and wasn't impressed. Flavorless, raw tofu is a no. Very disappointing. The chefs clearly dont care about the quality of the vegetarian meals. The interior is kind of cool, and the servers were nice and apologetic, but there really wasn't much to be done about the food situation. Ramen Kagawa downtown Phoenix is infinitely better.
July 01 · LizHave been here multiple times. We love this place. We usually get the combo, blaze ramen and a pork/ chicken bun. Both buns taste really really good. I have also tried the chicken karaage, I think it’s okay, just get the chicken bun if you want fried chicken. The fried chicken in chicken bun tastes so much better and has better texture than the chicken karaage. For ramen, I have tried the blaze ramen and the tsukemen. I liked the blaze ramen better, it’s more flavorful. The pork is amazing. The tsukemen is pretty good, I would still order it if I don’t want to eat something too hot.
August 11 · YSIt is so genuinely baffling how difficult it is to ruin a delivery order but this silverlake location just happens to know how to ruin an experience.I ordered via uber eats and had my driver deliver this to me. Despite ordering with utensils, my order didn't come with a single one. How does that make any sense when I ordered RAMEN??????To make it even better, they didn't properly secure the bag. The poor driver had ramen broth leaking in her car and all throughout the bag, so much so that when she finally came up to deliver it to me IT FELL ON THE FLOOR AND I HAD NO BROTH WHATSOEVER.SO THANKS. Not only did I wait nearly 80 minutes for this to be made and delivered to me, but by the time it physically arrived the broth had leaked all the way through the bag that it broke the bag and spilled all of its contents on the floor.Fantastic. Absolutely will never recommend this location for how incompetent they are.
