I had dinner with a girlfriend at this spot tonight and I can’t say enough HOW MUCH FUN we had and HOW INCREDIBLE our meals tasted. Our server was Anthony and this guy is quite possibly one of the best servers I’ve ever had in a dining experience (and I’m in my 40’s). This guy is definitely going somewhere in his life! He’s an incredible people person, beyond hospitable and very obviously intelligent. We’re definitely coming back and requesting his table area! MANAGEMENT - take note and promote this guy! (But make sure he still serves when I come in, haha!) ——THANK YOU FOR AN AWESOME experience that I think we’ll remember for some time :)

Food was great, every course was fulfilling, and Felecia, our server was very wonderful to us. Checking in on us at the right times, and me and my family had an even greater time thanks to her and her positive vibes.

After a long day working at a convention, I stopped by this restaurant instead of cooking at home, as it was getting a bit late. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was absolutely outstanding—my server truly went above and beyond. The service and ambiance easily earn five stars.I ordered everything at once since I already knew what I wanted: a root beer, a Bloomin' Onion, and a ribeye steak dinner with salad and fries. I planned to enjoy just a few bites of the onion with my meal and take the rest home to share with my wife the next day—it looked like a generous portion, more than enough for both of us. The food I had there was excellent; the steak was cooked perfectly, and while the onion could’ve used a bit more coating in places, it still hit the spot.Unfortunately, when I reheated the leftovers at home, I found several of the papery outer layers of the onion hadn’t been removed. That made a large portion of it inedible and gave the impression of a much bigger serving than what was actually usable. It was a letdown, especially after looking forward to sharing it. I let my wife have the portion that was edible, and I was left wanting. Because of that, I’d rate the food three stars—but thanks to the exceptional service and atmosphere, I’d still be happy to return.

We aren't 'regulars' at Outback, but we got a gift card from our kids, so we went to a location in north Mesa. It was 2 pm, and when we entered, the place was practically empty. Figuring we came late enough to miss the lunch rush, we waited at the empty hostess stand in the foyer. Eventually, a terse and tired-looking waitress came through and barely made eye contact. "Someone will be with you in a minute." So we waited. And waited.I looked into the seating area and saw a slew of empty tables that hadn't been cleared. It must have been from lunch, because I only saw one table with customers seated.We waited some more. Then, I told my wife, "I'm really not feeling the love here. Don't like the vibe." We left.We decided to try another location.We found the right one on Southern in Tempe. We were greeted with a smile the moment we entered and were seated in a well-managed dining area. Our waitress came within a minute or two and got us drinks. She was friendly and relaxed. She came back and took our order.The food was piping hot, the sirloin steaks were perfectly seasoned and cooked to our liking, as ordered. The two waitresses working the room were efficient and consistently smiled while attending to their tables. They checked on us a couple of times, but were not intrusive or rushing us.We really enjoyed this location, and we're glad we decided to give the Tempe location a try.They convinced us to return soon!
