More than just a traditional steakhouse, this establishment combines the luxury of a fine dining venue with a lively, trendy, and even romantic atmosphere. Located in the vibrant heart of Scottsdale, Maple & Ash is known for its wood-fired steaks, fresh seafood, and an ambiance that makes every visit feel like a special occasion. It is categorized as a Steak House, Seafood Restaurant, and a Brunch Restaurant, showcasing its comprehensive appeal throughout the day. The restaurant, led by the vision of a two-Michelin-star chef, has quickly become a top choice for those looking for high-quality ingredients and a sophisticated, contemporary dining environment.
The menu is a testament to indulgence, focusing on top-tier cuts of meat and ocean-fresh seafood, all prepared over a wood fire—a key element that imparts a unique smoky flavor. The selection of Wood-Fired Steaks & Chops includes luxurious options like the Filet Mignon 12 Oz ($112.00), the 28 Day Dry-Aged Bone-In Ribeye ($114.00), and the Bone-In New York Strip ($96.00). Beyond beef, guests can savor the Colorado Lamb Chops ($92.00) or the Classic Steak Frites ($81.00). Seafood enthusiasts are equally catered to with an extensive A La Carte selection, featuring Half Maine Lobster ($56.00), Alaskan King Crab Legs ($91.00), and Wild Blue Prawns ($43.00), alongside a grand Fire - Roasted Seafood Tower offered A La ($165.00), which is often cited in reviews for its excellent seasoning and wood-fire smoke taste.
Complementing the main courses is a thoughtful selection of Salads & Starters, such as the Fork & Knife Caesar Salad ($21.00) and the popular Wood Fired Octopus ($31.00). The side dishes, including Mac & Cheese ($20.00), Whipped & Buttered Potatoes ($18.00), and Wood-Roasted Oyster Mushrooms ($20.00), are designed to enhance the meal. For a sweet finale, the dessert menu offers the classic Chocolate Cake ($21.00) and the Coconut Cream Pie ($19.00). Despite the high price point, which is typical for a luxury resort-area establishment, the overall atmosphere and the quality of the primary offerings, particularly the seafood and steaks, contribute to its reputation as a memorable and 'baller' experience.

The food highlights that make it a compelling choice include the freshness and unique preparation of the seafood and steak. The signature wood-fire preparation allows diners to "really taste the wood fire smokes," lending a distinctive flavor to their dishes, such as the praised seafood tower and the wedge salad with its unique addition of onion rings. While prices are on the higher side, the quality of ingredients, like the dry-aged steaks and fresh seafood, justifies the expense for a truly indulgent meal.

The availability of brunch, complete with bottomless mimosas and a high-end, upbeat vibe, offers a compelling reason to visit during the daytime. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My husband and I went there to celebrate for my birthday. The food was great! I love the seafood tower. You can really taste the wood fire smokes. The seasoning was excellent touch. The steak was also good. The wedge salad was surprisingly very good. The onion ring made it so much better! The bone marrow was a bit too salty in my opinion. However, for the price of the food I feel like I could go somewhere else. The chocolate cake wasn’t that good. Don’t recommend it.The service was not so great. Usually when we visit fancy restaurants, they ask if we are celebrating anything or if there’s special occasion. The waiter didn’t ask and we didn’t really had a chance to share that we were celebrating my birthday. I was kinda bummed out because I thought my husband had noted it in the reservation. I didn’t get the cool menu that others get for their birthdays. The waiter was very pushy for ordering food. There were only the two of us and we already ordered big entree portions but the waiter kept on asking us if we wanted appetizers even after my husband said no. We ended up getting the wedge salad. The salad was good but we had so much leftovers because we had too much food. The atmosphere was great for dates and special occasions! Love the vibe and overall aesthetic of the restaurant.
October 20 · Kathryn HuaLove the fresh seafood and upbeat, yet laid back, atmosphere here for brunch, dinner and the Tower Hour. All have been luxurious and satisfying with friendly and professional service. We will certainly be back again soon. This time we enjoyed complimentary drinks and onion dip with caviar to start. We followed with mezcal and a draft IPA, then started with a roasted seafood tower with butter, chili oil and pasta finished table side. Next, lobster with truffle frites, prime French dip and oyster Rockefeller dip. Another good time and great meal! Cheers! 🙏🏼🍻🥂🦪 🦞
October 12 · Rowland ShortTraveling for a birthday dinner and we were absolutely blown away. The staff paid incredible attention to detail and helped explain everything. The meatballs and garlic bread appetizer were tender and flavorful. We both ordered the ribeye medium rare with beefed up butter. We both could not believe how delicious the steak was combined with the butter and bone marrow. We got sides of potatoes el gratin and brussel sprouts that paired nicely together. One of the best steaks we have had and we travel a lot. We finished with the gooey butter torte and scrapped the plate clean in satisfaction. If you’re in the area and want a special dinner add this to your itinerary. I recommend making reservations in advance.
September 29 · Matt & Jackie FoodiesMaple & Ash Scottsdale was worth every penny — hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The vibe was amazing from the moment I walked in. The food was amazing. The service was top-tier without being uptight, and the whole night felt special. It’s definitely a splurge, but totally worth it. I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat.
October 11 · angela jacksonWow, what an experience! My husband and I were celebrating his birthday and our wedding anniversary and I’m so happy we chose Maple and Ash! From the complimentary welcome drink and app, to ambience, to the service, and not to mention how perfect the food was. Unbelievable! Drea was our server and she was amazing. We didn’t feel rushed through dinner, enjoyed each course thoroughly with lots of time to chat in between. It wasn’t too quiet like most steakhouses, a great house music playlist. The beef tartare was a new experience for me but so delicious. The pillows of love were insane. We shared the NY strip and it was cooked perfectly. Espresso martini was very coffee heavy but tasted amazing. 10/10.Can’t wait to go back!
