★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This was an amazing local food restaurant in the heart Phoenix. The restaurant felt like a blast from the past, with its classic charm. We decided to eat inside and had their 1/4 pound burger and cheese fries. It was good. Additionally, the views of the mountains outside their window was nice see while enjoying our meal. Whenever I’m back in town, their restaurant will remain on my list to revisit.
September 23 · DaniThe older gentleman working the drive-through could definitely be more personable and approachable. Ordered a burger for my son with no Lettuce, tomato, onion, or pickle, and he said “well what do you want on it then?” Burger smelled so good but my son said it tasted off and was made incorrectly and there was a dark little hair in his fries. He said the shake was good but after finding the hair in the fries was afraid to eat anything else.
August 28 · Hannah FordThis family-run burger joint has been serving up mouth-watering burgers since 1951. I tried the 1/4 lb burger with fries special for $7.59, and I gotta say, the burger was super juicy. The fries were way better than Jack's or McDonald's. Please support our local businesses.
June 12 · Victor MannCame today, Monday, June 9th to try their burgers. They’re great! I had the 3/4 lb burger with pepper jack cheese. They place lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles; with mustard and ketchup. Every burger comes with fries. I had a large fountain drink to go with my meal. Behind the counter are three figures of Big Boy. Their burgers remind me of Bob’s Big Boy. The burgers were cooked just right; not overdone, or charred. The fries could have used a touch more crisp, but were still quite good and like steak fries. I had Barq’s root beer which was refreshing. The restaurant is somewhat small; having four tables with chairs, and window seating with stools. Clean, and a little cramped if they become very busy at lunchtime. About six parking spaces, and a drive thru… which is their only exit. My check after tax came to $22.80. One more thing to note: no public bathrooms. That goes for the gas station next door (Circle K). If you come here, you may want to take your meal to go.P.S. Refills are $.50 for fountain drinks.
June 09 · Chris ANostalgic place that sells middle of the road basic burgers and fries at decent prices. If you're going inside, beware: there's no logical way to get out except to sit in the drive through line which takes a good amount of time. Or, you have to go against traffic through the entrance. Tight and cramped, but it's the only way to get the nostalgic value here. Not so hot part of town. But then again, I don't miss living in Phoenix any more. They do feed the homeless outside of the joint. Great for humanity, not so much for the atmosphere. We were out by dark, and that felt right. One and done.
