★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We have always been a big fan of Ikea Swedish meatballs and anytime we are shopping there stopping at the restaurant is a given for us. The restaurant is a great value you can get a Swedish meatball entree for $4.29 which is served with peas and mashed potatoes. The restaurant is cafeteria style serving delicious Swedish inspired dishes, and at that price we decided to take home a couple of entrees to enjoy later.
February 26 · Victor MannSwedish meatballs are delicious—tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with mashed potatoes and lingonberry sauce. The cake was also fantastic, moist, and not too sweet. However, the mac and cheese was disappointing, and the tomato soup had an overpowering lemony flavor. Overall, a good meal but expensive.
September 08 · Hosni DeneI've eaten at this IKEA restaurant a few times. Sometimes my friend and I come here to eat lunch, and we don't even shop.I would say I eat a vegetarian diet about 95% of the time. However, I really enjoy IKEA's meaty meatballs. My friend is 99% vegetarian, so she gets the veggie balls. Well. In September of 2024, when my friend asked the worker for vegetarian meatballs, the worker asked which kind. That's when we realized there are now two vegetarian meatball options! The original vegetarian meatballs are made from veggies. They are good. I've had them before. But they are not like the meaty meatballs. The new vegetarian meatballs are made with pea protein. My friend let me try one of them. It was really tasty! Very much like the meaty meatballs. Next time I'll probably get the pea protein balls. The restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere. It was not crowded when we had lunch there on a Wednesday afternoon.
September 18 · Cee GeeMy expectations were low coming into this experience, but I was pleasantly surprised. The meatballs lived up to the hype, I feel like the meatballs to IKEA are like the hot dogs to Costco. Similarly, you can buy them frozen and take them home if you'd like.Anyways, I tried the chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, and vegetables. The tenders were good (fries were average) and the mashed potatoes exceeded my expectations. The vegetables were bland though, so don't expect a lot of flavor there. Loved the smoked salmon. The drink selection is good. I got the pear flavored sparkling water, it was really good.In all, it was solid for what it was. If I knew I was making a trip to IKEA, I wouldn't mind going hungry and eating here. I can always walk it off after as I attempt to do my best interior designer impersonation.-KG
May 18 · KeenanThe environment was clean and organized. Going a little bit earlier than the time you want to eat is recommended because it can get pretty busy, but even then it is a nice place to eat at. It is a great place to relax and take a break during shopping. The food is delicious. The seating is also really nice.
