★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I visited Chutney’s last Saturday and tried their Chicken Tikka Masala with Garlic Naan. Unfortunately, my dining experience was quite disappointing.First of all, the cutlery situation was terrible. They only provided plastic and paper cutlery, not even a single piece of steel cutlery for dine-in customers. Considering their price range, you’d expect proper dine-in service with standard utensils. Eating hot curry with a plastic spoon was not only inconvenient but also felt unsafe. The taste of the food was just okay, nothing exceptional. But what really bothered me was the poor service. The waitress barely interacted with customers she didn’t ask if we liked the food, needed anything, or even check on us. She seemed more focused on mobile orders and stayed inside the kitchen most of the time. When we needed something simple like extra onions, we had to call her through the small kitchen window or even get up from our seats multiple times to ask. That’s definitely not how dine-in service should be handled.Overall, I was upset with both the service and the dining setup. For the same price, you can easily find better Indian restaurants that offer proper service, steel cutlery, and a comfortable dine-in experience.🚫 Recommendation:If you’re planning to try Chutney’s, I’d suggest take-out only. Do not dine in, and honestly, you might even want to skip ordering from here altogether until they improve their customer service and dine-in standards.
October 13 · PRANITA NAIRWorst food ever, we took takeout today and this was worse. Schezwan noodles had lots of chillies, it was too spicy. Chicken in noodles was bland, chicken manchurian was too much spicy. They have lost the taste. Would never recommend going here or ordering food from here. Waste of money
June 09 · Shraddha GhawateOne of the worst ever. Was in hurry to order some quick indian food. Uber eats one chicken biryani. Guess $30 for one small thin chicken drumstick and lot of not so tasty biryani flavored rice. .wish I had seen google reviews before ordering. Never again. Worst exp of all indian restaurants in 35 years of US living. If there is an award these guys should get it!!BTW, entire raita leaked in the plastic bag...it was a mess to clear it up..
October 14 · Sudhir KolliUniversity town vibe with some good sumptuous Indian choices. Putting the order in little awkward but the servicing is great. It remain opens very late. Food was good. Seating and atmosphere could have been better. They also have outside patio seating.
July 04 · Kanchan SilThis is the second time I'm visiting Chutneys and both times I experienced bad service. First time I went at 10:45pm and they said they close at 11pm and last order is at 10:30pm, understandable. Again I went at 10:15pm and they said no dine-in coz they are closing at 10:30pm even when maps showed they close at 11pm. Upon that the restaurant was stinking which showed bad maintenance and low cleanliness. This was really inconvenient, it's good for you guys to fix for one closing time.
