I was excited to try this place out as I just moved across the street last week. Needless to say, I was very disappointed.Ordered the Nachos with Carne Asada. The total came out to $23. The whole thing had as much Carne Asada on it as stuffed Street Taco.There were a lot of chips, but the nachos were not layered. Once I got past the top layer, there were few of any toppings that made their way down.The cheese was heavy handed on top, which turned into a congealed nightmare as it cooled.The cherry on top is that the refried beans were on the very bottom, as in under the chips?!When I go to a Mexican restaurant for the first time; I always order their nachos. In my experience nachos are a good indicator of what the rest of the food will be like. I mean, if you mess up nachos...Sorry Rosita's. I thought we were going to have a long, fruitful relationship. Unfortunately, you're just a one nacho stand.

I met a friend at Rosita’s Fine Mexican Food in Tempe for lunch. We live on opposite ends of town, so this is a good place for us to meet in the middle. We were seated quickly and presented with chips and salsa to snack on while our meal was being prepared. I ordered Chicken Enchiladas and a glass of Pepsi. My friend ordered Spinach Enchiladas and a glass of water. The total, including tax and tip was $49.30. The food was prepared quickly and was hot and delicious. The meal was filling and we definitely did not walk away hungry. There’s a good chance that I will try this restaurant again.

Great place for authentic Mexican food. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly at this location. The food servers are proficient and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant for fine food.

I ordered the carne asada to go. It was the worst and I basically paid $19.50 for chips and salsa. I appreciate the meat was in a separate container but it looked like scraps reheated multipleTimes. I literally had no chunks of meat just crispy shoe leather pieces. The rice and refried beans were on a smaller scale too so there wasn’t much to eat. If I had dined in I would have returned this. The place was busy so service was slow.

Established in 1963 by momma Rosa Keeme, this generational family owned Mexican restaurant serves authentic Mexican cuisine with recipes handed down from generation to generation. You'll find the classic Mexican fare such as tacos, enchiladas, tamales, and fajitas. They have lunch specials Monday through Saturday until 4 pm. The service is friendly and attentive, and the food is as you would expect authentic and delicious. They also have some discounts available through Groupon and Local Flavor to save money.
