Mariscos A Todo Mar Introduce
For Arizona residents seeking an authentic and robust coastal Mexican dining experience without leaving the Valley, Mariscos A Todo Mar in Phoenix is a highly-regarded destination. This seafood restaurant specializes in the bold, rich flavors of Sinaloa-style mariscos (seafood), offering a menu that focuses on exceptional freshness and traditional preparation. The name itself, "Mariscos A Todo Mar," translates roughly to "Seafood to the Full Sea," a promise of a deep and varied seafood selection.
The restaurant has earned a reputation for serving some of the best mariscos in the Southwest Valley, making it a popular choice for both quick lunches and leisurely dinners. From the moment you step in, the atmosphere is notably casual and trendy, appealing to a diverse crowd that includes locals, groups, and tourists. While the space can get busy—a clear indicator of its popularity—the vibrant culinary offerings make it "worth every minute of the wait," as noted by one enthusiastic patron.
The menu is centered around cold and hot seafood dishes, with a particular emphasis on raw and cured specialties that are characteristic of Sinaloa. The Ceviche is consistently highlighted as a must-try, available in varieties like traditional Shrimp (Camaron), Fish (Pescado), and mixed options that can include octopus (Pulpo) and scallop (Callo de Hacha). Their Aguachile—shrimp cured in a zesty lime broth with chili—is offered in both Green (Verde) and Red (Rojo) preparations, known for their solid kick of spice.
For a comprehensive tasting, the signature Botanas are the way to go. The Botana A Todo Mar is a particularly popular platter that allows diners to sample a mix of specialty seafood. For those who prefer hot dishes, options like the "Gobernador" Marlin or Shrimp Tacos, the famous Camarones Encabronados (often a spicy shrimp dish), and various burritos and bowls featuring surf and turf combinations ensure there is something for every craving. The restaurant also boasts a full bar featuring cocktails, beer, and hard liquor, with a special mention often given to their refreshing Limeade Preparada and satisfying Micheladas.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This place was recommended by seniorfoodie and let me tell you it doesn't disappoint! Super good food, very good flavours, awesome service ! Hard to say what you should try, I literally ordered what someone else had on their table haha. The ceviche is a most tho !
August 18 · Virgil BThe food here was absolutely delicious, but the service left a lot to be desired. Our server seemed overwhelmed, and we had to remind them just to bring water. We would have ordered additional drinks, but getting their attention was difficult. The restaurant was very busy, which likely contributed to the long wait times—30 minutes for a table and another 30 minutes after ordering. While we understand that the kitchen was backed up, it would have been nice if our drinks were refilled more consistently during the wait. Overall, great food, but the service could use some improvement.
February 04 · Summer JonesIf you’re looking for amazing seafood with bold, rich flavors, Mariscos A Todo Mar is the spot! My family and I stopped by, and let me tell you—it was worth every minute of the wait.We went all in on the seafood, trying the seafood tower, shrimp tostada, botana de camarón, shrimp mix, and oysters, and every single dish was packed with flavor. One of their sauces had a solid kick to it, which we loved! Even the kids’ menu was on point—our little ones had the cheese quesadilla and chicken tenders, and they enjoyed every bite. Now, let’s talk about the vibe—this place stays packed, and that’s always a great sign that the food is fire. The only small drawback is the restaurant size, but honestly, that just adds to the charm. We had a party of 8 and waited about 30 minutes for a table, but seeing how efficiently the staff worked made it clear why this place runs like a well-oiled machine.Shoutout to the waitresses who were on top of everything despite the fast-paced environment. And the older gentleman clearing tables? That man was moving! It was awesome to see the whole team working together to make sure guests were taken care of.Bottom line—this place is a MUST if you love great seafood, great service, and a lively atmosphere. Next time, we’ll plan ahead so we’re not rushing, but one thing’s for sure—we’ll absolutely be back!📍 If you haven’t tried Mariscos A Todo Mar yet, you’re missing out! #SeafoodLovers #WorthTheWait #MariscosDoneRight
March 02 · David MadridThe food is great. Knowing this, I told my dad about it weeks before he flew into town to visit. My family and I came expecting a wait. We were told 30-40 minutes which we understood, considering there were 6 of us and not many tables. After some time over an hour, we were finally seated. The place seemed more like a house party than an actual restaurant. The table they were waiting to give us stayed. They were obviously over-served alcohol, making frequent or long trips to the bathroom. The whole general vibe seemed to be prioritized around having a good time rather than actual service. After about another hour of waiting for our food, we finally decided to leave. Miraculously, the food was minutes from being ready so we paid, took our food to go, and left. There are plenty of Mariscos in Phoenix. I was wrong to think this one was worth the trip to visit. This was the most frustrating experience I have ever had in a restaurant. If you are not a regular or friend of the owner, I recommend you get your food to go or go somewhere else.
September 22 · Nallely GeniellaOrdered a tostada to go, took almost 20 mins, no one else in the restaurant. They didn’t put the tostada on the side, got soggy right away because of all the juice.
